Materials and sharing

A material lives at https://mtlx.ai/username/material-name. Public materials are searchable in the library, viewable by anyone, and downloadable. Private materials require a paid plan and remain visible to their owner.

Upload a .mtlx file or a .mtlx.zip package with referenced textures. Use the web editor to inspect and edit a material, or the viewer to render it. Both accept URL parameters for embedding.

The CLI, SDK, and REST API use the same cloud service.
